I’ve owned a blog at SKGfun for a while now, but I wanted another blog on which I could share posts on reading, writing, and graphic design (my three favorite loves).

So, here we are. How does one begin a blog? There’s the ever-popular all about me post, but I never really think anyone would care to know more about me. The most important thing is why did I name my blog Thumbelina’s World? Well, the truth of the matter is that

I am five feet tall.

Actually, I’m just one centimeter away from being five foot one. And yet I’ve never really liked the idea of being five foot one. Pardon my prejudices if you are five foot one, I’ve just always felt as if it shows weakness in a way. It’s like you didn’t want to be just five foot, so you barely made it to five foot one and then gave up at the last minute.

Strange, isn’t it?

I guess I could start out with a joke. I do love jokes. So here’s my favorite.
