This series is inspired by the character Colette in my novel The Memory Jumper. She’s a haunted woman, married to an unloving, cold man (the king of a country). She’s sees herself as a bird in a golden cage. No one knows how she’s dying on the inside and fights a mental breakdown throughout the entire novel.
