BLUE

part of the color series

Blue is the color of driving home by yourself after a rough day, the wind drying the tears on your trembling face.

Blue is seeing an old friend whom a misunderstanding has distanced you from.

It’s feeling absolutely, uncontrollably alone; being surrounded by people that care nothing for you.

But it’s also sitting outside on a weekend and rereading your favorite book. It’s listening to a song that really speaks from you. Blue is gazing out at the siren sea and letting it call you home to its droning waters.  It’s hugging someone and feeling as if they’ve pulled you back together.

Blue is SADNESS. Blue is PEACE.

Peace can come from sadness, if you only let it heal you.

INFP who names inanimate objects, loves to laugh, and is a proud old soul. You can often find her planning out her next crazy project, hugging books, or telling stories about her day that *may* be a little exaggerated.
